What Happens Next. . .

Welcome to Paris' new blog! This blog will follow Paris' adventures of being a pet. Paris was the 8th puppy that I raised for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I received her on September 24th, 2009 when she was 7 months old, and raised her until she returned for her formal harness training on May 9, 2010. 18 days later I got the unfortunate news that she was career changed for Persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous which means she has blurry vision. It took me a few days to decide that she should come home, and I couldn't be happier to be getting my baby girl back. It'll be tough for a bit while I am still in school, but I will make it work. Paris is a very special pup and I couldn't pass up the chance to have her be my forever dog. I have been looking up therapy groups in my area because she is the kind of dog who needs a job and nothing would make her happier. I am not sure when she will make it back down to Utah but I will for sure let you all know. I can't wait!!

[7 month old Paris on the day I got her laying in the grass. She was a goofy and awkward little girl who I loved to watch grow and mature.]
[Much more grown up and mature Paris laying on some rocks in front of a waterfall a few days before recall.]

P.S. I am not sure I love the new blog title so if anyone has suggestions for it I would love to hear them. :D

I don't like it either. Paris isn't plain. :) Perhaps...Mentor Dog Paris...or Pet Paris' New Adventures. Hmm....some thought indeed is needed for this. I'm so happy for you and Paris. It'll feel good to be reunited.

Ahh!!! I'm so happy you decided to keep her! Hmm.. a good blog title - keeping up with the P's here - how about "Paris's Possibilities" - a little corny but thats all I have for right now lol.

Congrats on bringing Paris home! Medical CC's suck (I know how that goes x2 in a row) but it really does make all the difference when YOUR baby gets to come stay home. :-) Best of luck welcoming her back!
